Welcome to Langlands School, Dumfries.

Langlands is a specialist secondary school for young people with severe and complex additional support needs. It serves a large catchment area in Dumfries and Galloway.

Our high staff to pupil ratio, with skilled and experienced personnel, together with a highly individualised approach - means that young people are well supported to achieve, prosper and develop.

On this website you will find information about the school, what we do, and how things work.

This website, together with our Facebook page, provide most of the general information and whole school updates, as well as via letters home. Parents also have access to Evisense, an app that gives regular updates on their child's progress and learning. It can be downloaded from the App Store (Apple) or the Play Store (Android).

Langlands’ vision is a community where all young people feel valued, respected and included, and are able to learn, develop and succeed.
